Professional culinary and cooking school. The staff and management are friendly and professional. The trainers and teachers are experienced people on their fields. You will find short, medium and long term courses as diverse as pastry, bakery, traditional, contemporary and even japonese courses. I decided to give it a try and got myself in a two months traditional japonese cooking course (the school even works alongside a japonese association to guarantee the best learning possible) plus a short internship in one of the trainer/chef restaurants. It was absolutely great as it taught me not only japonese cooking, gastronomy and culture, but also health and safety awareness. The school is located in Lapa/Estrela area and has a modern facility filled with all the necessary equipment and all bells and whistles to learn and to work properly. The pricing of each course feels reasonable for the output. This was for newbies like myself or for people who actually already work in japonese or asian cooking. Many of my teammates decided to open their own sushi places or to work as sushimen. I would return to this school to get myself more cooking courses for sure! If you are looking to learn from scratch or either you just need to recycle some knowledge or if you are looking for a change, you should pay this school a visit to know about their current courses offer.
